About Modash: Modash is a growing creator partnerships platform that helps brands scale their partnerships with creators on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. We’re looking for a full-time Senior Data Engineer to join our Data team and help bring our mission to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of building the best data platform for influencer marketing.
  • Design, develop, and test data pipelines to collect, process, and store data.
  • Collaborate with colleagues through pair programming and mob reviewing.
  • Participate in every area of the data product, from brainstorming to releasing.
  • Help choose the best technical direction by providing well-reasoned ideas on frameworks and tools.
  • Implement systems to monitor data quality for accuracy and clarity.
  • Teach and be taught through code reviews and feedback.

Requirements:

  • Experienced as a Data Engineer with a passion for building well-architected software.
  • Familiarity with unstructured data, Spark environments, and distributed workflow managers like Airflow or AWS Step Functions.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
  • Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AWS ecosystem: DynamoDB, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda, ECS.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL database design.
  • Proven ability to scope, architect, code, test, and roll out product features.
