Role Overview: As a Senior Data Engineer at Modash, you’ll take ownership of building the best data platform for influencer marketing. You’ll design, develop, and test data pipelines to collect, process, and store data. You’ll collaborate with colleagues, from pair programming to mob reviewing, and participate in every area of the data product, from brainstorming to releasing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of building the best data platform for influencer marketing
• Design, develop, and test data pipelines to collect, process, and store data
• Collaborate with colleagues through pair programming and mob reviewing
• Participate in brainstorming, roadmap planning, implementing, reviewing, and releasing
• Help choose the best technical direction by providing well-reasoned ideas on frameworks and tools
• Implement systems to monitor data quality for optimized accuracy and clarity
• Teach and be taught through code reviews and feedback

Required Skills:

• Experienced as a Data Engineer with a focus on unstructured data
• Proficiency working in Spark environment
• Experience managing data workflows with a distributed workflow manager (Airflow, AWS Step Functions)
• Hands-on experience writing code in Python and SQL
• Familiarity with AWS ecosystem: DynamoDB, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda, ECS
• Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL database design
• Passion for building well-architected software
• Experience with building and maintaining ETL & ELT data pipelines

Compensation: The estimated pay range for this role is €60,000 - €140,000. This role is eligible to participate in Modash’s equity plan.
