Construction Robot Operator

Monumental is creating robots that autonomously construct buildings, starting with autonomous bricklaying robots in Amsterdam. They design hardware/software in-house and have deployed robots earning revenue. Funded with $25M, the team of 50+ is growing fast. Their mission is software-defined, autonomous construction.

We need Construction Robot Operators to deploy, operate, and supervise our autonomous bricklaying robots on active construction sites in the Netherlands. This is a field-based role critical to our customer success and operations.

Responsibilities:
- Transport, set up, and calibrate robots on customer construction sites.
- Operate and monitor robot performance during bricklaying tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of the robots in the field.
- Ensure safe operation of the robots according to protocols.
- Liaise with site managers and construction crews.
- Provide feedback to the engineering team on robot performance and site conditions.

Ideal Candidate:
- Practical, hands-on approach to technology.
- Experience working on construction sites or in field operations is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license often required.
- Basic computer literacy.
