Full Stack Engineer (C#/ .NET, Excel VSTO)

What You’’ll Do:

As a Full Stack Engineer at NavExl, you will take ownership of our VSTO (Visual Studio Tools for Office) add-ins built with C#/.NET 4.8.1 and WPF. You’ll tackle real-world deployment quirks including firewalls, TLS requirements, and MSI/ClickOnce distribution while helping us scale our product suite. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining VSTO add-ins for enterprise applications
• Solving complex deployment challenges across diverse network environments
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features
• Ensuring high performance, reliability, and security standards
• Troubleshooting and debugging complex software issues
• Optimizing application performance and scalability
• Mentoring junior engineers on best practices

What You’’ll Bring:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer with C#/ .NET
• Deep expertise in VSTO development and Excel integration
• Strong debugging skills, especially with COM and Excel-related issues
• Experience distributing enterprise software (MSI/ClickOnce preferred)
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant projects

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with .exe licensing and software obfuscation
• Knowledge of cloud deployment strategies
• Familiarity with security best practices for enterprise applications
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
