About the Role

We’re seeking a Sr/Staff Frontend Engineer to join our technology team and play a crucial role in building our internal research management platform. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and technology, developing innovative solutions for complex investment challenges using modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead frontend architecture and development for our research management platform
• Design and implement intuitive, high-performance user interfaces using Vue3 and TypeScript
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API integration with Cloudflare and Supabase
• Optimize frontend performance, ensuring fast load times and responsive interactions
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Develop reusable components and design systems for consistency across applications
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
• Implement security best practices for frontend components
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sr/Staff level frontend engineer (5+ years)
• Mastery of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Expertise with Vue.js framework (Vue3 preferred)
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and state management
• Experience with component-based frontend development
• Proficiency in modern build tools and task runners (Webpack, Vite, etc.)
• Solid grasp of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Cloudflare) and database interactions (Supabase/PostgreSQL)
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Compensation

The target salary range for this Sr/Staff Frontend Engineer role is $180,000 to $250,000, depending on experience. This includes a performance bonus and potential carry (hedge fund equity equivalent) based on company success and individual contributions.
