New Public is working with a consortium of public broadcasters around the world to create a publicly-owned public-interest online space. We are researchers, engineers, designers, and community leaders working together to explore creating digital public spaces where people can thrive and connect. Our mission is to reimagine social media and create digital public spaces that foster connection, facilitate pluralism, and encourage civic engagement.
