About New Lantern: New Lantern is a pioneering AI company dedicated to revolutionizing radiology by developing intelligent tools that automate non-diagnostic tasks. With $23M in funding from top investors including Benchmark, Anthology Fund, and SV Angel, we're scaling rapidly from our San Francisco headquarters.

About The Role: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining the scalable cloud infrastructure that powers our AI platform for radiology. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and medical teams to ensure our systems can handle high-throughput healthcare data while maintaining exceptional reliability and performance.

What You'll Do:
* Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or similar platforms.
* Implement and manage containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
* Develop and enforce infrastructure as code practices using Terraform or similar tools.
* Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability for medical workloads.
* Collaborate with security teams to implement robust security measures.
* Monitor system health and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues with minimal downtime.
* Stay at the forefront of cloud technologies and industry best practices.

What You'll Bring:
* Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure.
* Deep expertise with AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
* Strong background in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
* Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security fundamentals.
* Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems.
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
* Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Ideal Candidate: You thrive in fast-paced environments, possess a strong sense of ownership, and have a passion for building robust systems that serve critical applications. Experience with healthcare or medical technology systems is a plus, but not required. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and able to make sound architectural decisions with limited requirements documentation.

Join us to help build the infrastructure that enables radiologists to focus on what they do best: caring for patients.
