About The Role: We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our product-focused team. This role involves building and maintaining the core backend services that power our AI platform for radiology. You'll work closely with product managers, infrastructure engineers, and medical professionals to develop innovative features that enhance radiologists' workflows.

What You'll Do:
*   Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services for our AI platform.
*   Collaborate with frontend and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration.
*   Optimize database performance and API endpoints for scalability and reliability.
*   Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
*   Work with cloud storage solutions and message queues for efficient data processing.
*   Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high code quality.
*   Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
*   Gather requirements from product and medical teams to build impactful features.

What You'll Bring:
*   Strong proficiency in Python and experience with backend development frameworks.
*   Solid understanding of database design and optimization (SQL/NoSQL).
*   Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
*   Knowledge of asynchronous processing and message queuing systems.
*   Familiarity with containerization and cloud deployment practices.
*   Excellent problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities.
*   Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Ideal Candidate: You are passionate about building user-facing features that solve real-world problems, particularly in healthcare. You thrive in collaborative environments and possess a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies. Experience with AI/ML integration or healthcare systems is a plus but not required. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and able to balance technical implementation with user needs.
