Our team combines AI, legal, and engineering expertise to solve complex problems in regulatory compliance and societal-AI alignment.\n\nAbout The Role:\n\nAs a Senior Design Engineer at Norm.ai, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative solutions for regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable architectures that ensure adherence to complex regulations while leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies. This position requires strong technical expertise, creative problem-solving abilities, and a passion for transforming complex regulatory requirements into efficient, automated systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n Lead the design and development of scalable, robust systems for regulatory compliance\n Collaborate with legal and AI teams to translate complex regulatory requirements into technical specifications\n Optimize system performance and ensure reliability at scale\n Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing\n Stay at the forefront of regulatory technology and AI advancements\n Drive innovation in compliance automation and regulatory intelligence\n Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\n\n Proven experience in designing and implementing complex software systems\n Deep understanding of distributed systems, API design, and microservices architecture\n Expertise in at least two programming languages (Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript)\n Strong knowledge of database technologies and data modeling\n Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)\n Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and reliability\n BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience\n 5+ years of professional software engineering experience\n\nCompensation:\n\nThe estimated pay range for this role is $200,000 - $250,000.
