Norm Ai is the Compliance AI Platform for legal standards-based reasoning & workflow automation. We developed the first Domain Specific Language (DSL) for fully representing regulatory requirements in AI code. This DSL, deployed with our enterprise platform, enables Norm clients to transform workflows and apply compliance checks at the source of business activities. We are setting the norms for compliance processes at the largest institutions in the world. **This Role**

As a Full Stack Engineer at Norm AI, you will be integral to the development of our AI-driven compliance solutions. You will work directly with all aspects of our code stack.

**You Will:**

*   Improve the product–both our client facing enterprise product and in support of our internal legal engineering tools team.
*   Work on scaling problems–ensure our customers get top-notch availability and reliability on a particularly bursty system.
*   Remain on pace with emerging AI use cases-constantly push the boundaries of what is possible
*   Bring product intuition–iterate and obsess over the customer's experience

**Skills & Experience - Core:**

*   Bachelors or Masters in computer science or an equivalent field, or equivalent practical experience
*   2+ years experience writing Python, TypeScript, or similar for production use
*   Experience working with a Postgres database or similar
*   Experience writing APIs using a framework such as FastAPI or similar for production use
*   Interest or experience in working with a complex AI-driven product, (i.e. streamed outputs, dynamic agentic site navigation, etc)
*   Interest or experience in working with PDFs, excel, or file-driven products

**Skills & Experience - Pluses:**

*   Experience dealing with database scaling problems
*   Experience building highly configured or abstracted UIs tied to editable schemas stored in a database
*   Experience working with AWS infrastructure or similar
*   Experience working at an early-stage startup
*   Excited to work on product and work/iterate with customers
