**About Omi:**

Omi is a fast-moving startup building a wearable AI memory that helps you recall everything important and make decisions. Put it on, speak, transcribe, summarize, automatically. Having reached 300k users, 100M+ views, shipped 3 hardware prototypes, and raised $2m from Tim Draper in just 10 months, Omi is shaping the future of wearable computing. We provide tools like the Omi Dev Kit and OmiGPT for developers to build apps, earn bounties, and get hired.

**The Role:**

We are looking for a talented and driven Founding Engineer to join Nik (Thiel Fellow, sold 2 startups incl. one to Toptal after scaling to $4M GMV) and the early team. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing company in the exciting wearable AI space.

**Responsibilities:**

As a Founding Engineer, you will have a significant impact on the company's trajectory. You'll be deeply involved in:
*   Architecting and building core product features across the stack.
*   Making key technical decisions that will shape the future of the product.
*   Working closely with the founder to define product strategy and roadmap.
*   Helping to build and scale the engineering team and culture.
*   Moving quickly in a dynamic startup environment.

**Ideal Candidate:**

*   Proven experience building and architecting real products at scale, either consumer software or hardware-related.
*   Strong technical foundation and ability to work across different parts of the stack.
*   Experience with our current stack (Flutter, C) is a plus, but adaptability is key. We plan to move from Flutter to React Native, so experience there is highly valuable.
*   Comfortable with ambiguity and taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
*   Passionate about AI, wearables, and building category-defining products.
*   Your most badass achievement demonstrates your ability to build and ship significant things.
