**About Onja:** Onja is a social enterprise dedicated to training underprivileged youth into world-class software developers. We identify talented students in Madagascar who cannot afford higher education and provide comprehensive training in English and software development, enabling them to secure remote positions in global tech companies.

**About The Role:** Our first course (2020-2021) allowed twenty students to become industry-ready front-end developers. Now, we need a Back End Node.js Course Designer to rebuild this course from the ground up into a highly scalable online program. Your mission is to determine the appropriate technologies, create engaging content, and ensure assessments align with learning objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conducting research on suitable languages and technologies
- Finding and incorporating useful material from online sources
- Creating video lectures, learning activities, and assessments
- Collaborating with past lecturers to integrate their experience
- Developing assessment criteria and evaluation methods
- Contributing to other organizational aspects

**Requirements:**
- Twelve-month commitment with potential for renewal
- At least one year of professional back-end experience
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role is essential
- Interest in teaching and course design
