About Onja: Onja is a social enterprise training underprivileged youth into world-class software developers. We find brilliant minds in Madagascar who otherwise would be limited to low-paid careers and train them in English and software development. Our graduates now work remotely for international tech companies.

About The Role: Our first course (2020-2021) allowed twenty students to become industry-ready developers. Now, we need a Full Stack Course Designer to rebuild this course from the ground up into a highly scalable online program. Your mission is to determine the appropriate technologies, create engaging content, and ensure assessments align with learning objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting research on suitable languages and technologies for full-stack development
• Finding and incorporating useful material from online sources
• Creating video lectures, learning activities, and assessments
• Collaborating with past lecturers to integrate their experience
• Developing assessment criteria and evaluation methods
• Contributing to other organizational aspects

Requirements:

• Twelve-month commitment with potential for renewal
• At least one year of professional full-stack experience
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role is essential
• Interest in teaching and course design
