Design Engineer (Product Designer)

Onton is seeking a talented Product Designer to join our small team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the user experience of our e-commerce search platform, ensuring that our product is intuitive, delightful, and meets the needs of our users.

We are building a unique search technology that combines graph databases with neuro-symbolic AI, and we want our product to reflect that innovation. As a Product Designer at Onton, you will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design and implement features that enhance the user journey.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and improvements.
• Collaborating with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
• Iterating on designs based on feedback and data.

We are looking for someone with a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to design complex, data-driven products. You should have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with ambiguity.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail and UX best practices.
• Experience designing for data visualization and complex user flows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
