**Role Overview:** As an Engineering Manager at Oso, you'll lead and mentor a team of talented engineers. You'll be responsible for setting technical direction, driving project execution, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on management.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and mentor engineering teams to achieve project goals and technical excellence
- Develop and implement engineering best practices and standards
- Drive technical strategy and roadmap execution
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
- Partner with product and other stakeholders to align on technical requirements
- Recruit, hire, and develop talent within the engineering organization
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback

**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong technical background with deep understanding of software development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with distributed systems and authorization systems is a plus
- Track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope
- Ability to balance technical leadership with people management
