Senior Python Developer

Oxidian is looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our backend team. You’ll be responsible for building scalable systems that power our government software solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement backend services using Python
• Optimize database queries and API performance
• Collaborate with frontend developers to create seamless user experiences
• Contribute to infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform
• Mentor junior developers and help establish best practices
• Work with data scientists to build tools for data processing and visualization

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Python development experience
• Proficiency with modern Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)
• Strong knowledge of REST API design and implementation
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
