Mid-Level Python Developer

About Oxidian: Oxidian makes sure public money is well invested by building software for governments. We’re doing to government software services what challenger banks did to banking. We build software which best serves society by obsessing about customer service and user experience.

The Role: We are seeking a Mid-Level Python Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our software stack, which includes Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, and GitHub Actions. You will work on various projects including tools for scientists to process & visualise data, HPC data processing libraries, web apps to make people’s working lives easier, and DevOps pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications and services
• Collaborate with senior developers and other team members
• Contribute to code reviews and quality assurance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Participate in project planning and design discussions

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mid-Level Python Developer
• Solid knowledge of Python and related technologies
• Experience with web development frameworks
• Understanding of basic DevOps practices
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in data processing or visualization is a plus
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• Willingness to work with EU-based teams and adhere to location requirements
