ParaFi Capital, a $1B+ leading investment firm in digital assets, is hiring a Senior Full-stack Engineer based in San Diego (Hybrid).

Join us at the cutting edge of finance and crypto. You will be instrumental in building sophisticated platforms powering trading, risk management, AI-driven portfolio management, and core infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, and deploy robust full-stack applications and services.
* Contribute significantly to the architectural design of sophisticated trading, risk, and portfolio management systems.
* Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
* Tackle complex technical challenges related to performance, scalability, and security in a distributed systems environment.
* Maintain and improve core infrastructure supporting our investment activities.

Required Skills & Experience:
* Extensive experience as a senior-level Full-stack Engineer, demonstrating proficiency across the entire stack (frontend, backend, databases, infrastructure).
* Strong programming skills (specific languages not mentioned, but proficiency expected in common web technologies like Python, Go, Node.js, React, etc.).
* Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including data structures, algorithms, system design, and testing methodologies.
* Mathematical inclination and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Ideal Candidate:
* Passionate about financial markets, cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance (DeFi), and blockchain technology.
* Demonstrates a "hackathon pro" mindset – enjoys building, iterating quickly, and solving hard problems.
* Experience with financial data, trading systems, risk management concepts, or building AI/ML-powered applications is a significant plus.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills.
