About The Role: We are seeking a Backend Engineer to scale our data processing platform to 100M+ users. This is a unique opportunity to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers our AI-driven cashflow analytics platform. You will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable backend services that handle massive data volumes and ensure high performance for our global user base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput backend services for processing financial data at scale
  • Optimize database queries and data pipelines for performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into production systems
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our data processing systems
  • Implement monitoring and alerting for system health and performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development
  • Proficiency in languages like Python, Java, or Go
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, Redis)
  • Strong knowledge of database optimization and data modeling
  • Familiarity with financial data processing and risk assessment systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines

Compensation: The estimated pay range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000. This role is eligible for equity participation.
