The Role:
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at PermitFlow, you will lead the development of intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for our platform. You will be responsible for translating complex permitting workflows into simple, elegant user experiences. Working closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, you will build and maintain the frontend architecture, ensuring scalability, testability, and code quality. Your work will directly empower users navigating the challenging world of construction permitting.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex, high-quality frontend features using modern web technologies (e.g., React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
- Lead frontend architectural decisions and advocate for best practices in UI development.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to translate requirements and mockups into functional user interfaces.
- Ensure frontend performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers.
- Mentor junior frontend engineers (if applicable) and participate actively in code reviews.
- Contribute to the overall frontend strategy and technology choices.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React preferred) and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Experience building complex, data-intensive user interfaces.
- Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand), testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library), and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a keen eye for detail.
