Senior Data Analyst

About The Role: As a Senior Data Analyst at Pex, you’ll play a critical role in analyzing large-scale content datasets to improve our automated recognition systems. You’ll work with complex data pipelines, identify patterns in content usage, and collaborate with engineers to enhance detection algorithms. This position requires strong analytical skills, expertise in data manipulation, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges that impact our clients’ ability to protect their content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data analysis solutions to optimize content recognition algorithms
- Analyze massive datasets to identify trends in content usage, modifications, and detection patterns
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate insights into actionable improvements in detection accuracy
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis
- Create comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to leverage machine learning and statistical methods for enhanced content recognition
- Work closely with product teams to define data requirements and metrics for new features
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data analysis, particularly with large-scale datasets
- Expertise in SQL, Python, and data manipulation frameworks (Pandas, Spark preferred)
- Strong understanding of data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS Redshift, BigQuery, or similar)
- Familiarity with content recognition or digital rights management technologies is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns in complex data
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis or data engineering roles
