CTO

Phrasing.app is seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead our technical direction and help scale our platform to serve millions of users worldwide. As our first technical executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our architecture, technology stack, and engineering culture while maintaining our core mission of delivering exceptional language learning experiences.

Our platform, built with Elixir and ClojureScript, powers a unique language learning methodology that has garnered significant user engagement and retention. We’re not looking for a traditional CTO role but rather a passionate technologist who thrives in startups, embraces technical debt as a learning opportunity, and understands the delicate balance between ambition and execution.

Responsibilities will include:

• Architecting and implementing scalable solutions for our global user base
• Leading our technical team through complex engineering challenges
