Genuinely enjoys building things, just because they know lots of people will use them and benefit from them. Good at NextJS, typescript, rpc, because we want someone who can hit the ground running. Ideally you’ve built something you’re proud of using these technologies.

Role

This is a full-time Full Stack Engineer role at Pickaxe. This role is limited to applicants who are currently based in San Fransisco. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications—primarily through React, tRPC, Next.js, Typescript, and Python. Your day-to-day tasks will include writing clean, efficient and maintainable code, developing user‑friendly features, debugging and testing applications, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in React/Next.js
• Experience working with a Python/Flask backend
• Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Ability to problem-solve independently
• Ability to collaborate with a remote, fast-paced team
• Experience and enthusiasm for generative AI
