Senior UX Designer

About PlantingSpace: PlantingSpace is building an innovative AI system for analysts and scientists based on a fundamentally new approach to reasoning and knowledge representation. Our approach differs from traditional LLMs by composing algorithms symbolically to represent complex knowledge and performing probabilistic computations. Key Responsibilities:
* Design intuitive user interfaces for complex AI tools
* Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
* Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and desktop applications
* Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement designs
* Develop design systems and components to ensure consistency
* Advocate for user needs throughout the product development lifecycle

Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience as a senior UX designer in complex technical products
* Expertise in user-centered design methodologies and processes
* Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills for data-intensive applications
* Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
* Ability to create interactive prototypes and conduct user testing
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Compensation: The estimated pay range for this role is $150,000 - $210,000, with equity options available.
