About PlantingSpace: PlantingSpace is building an AI system for analysts and scientists based on a fundamentally new approach to reasoning and knowledge representation. Our approach differs from traditional LLMs by composing algorithms symbolically and performing probabilistic computations, enabling verifiable reasoning and uncertainty assessment across domains like Finance, Strategy Consulting, Engineering, and Material Sciences.

About The Role: We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our team in creating intuitive and effective user experiences for our AI platform. You will work closely with product managers and engineers to design interfaces that make complex reasoning and probabilistic computations accessible to domain experts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design user interfaces and experiences for complex AI tools
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Develop user flows and interaction patterns for analytical workflows
• Collaborate with product managers to define design requirements
• Implement data visualization techniques for complex probabilistic outputs
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to design system development
• Stay current with industry design trends and best practices

Required Skills & Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Senior UX Designer in tech products
• Expertise in designing interfaces for analytical and scientific applications
• Strong proficiency in UI design tools and methodologies
• Experience with data visualization and information design
• Portfolio demonstrating work with complex technical products
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail

Compensation: The estimated pay range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000, with eligibility for equity participation.
