Positron is a leader in cardiac imaging, delivering cutting-edge PET and PET-CT technology to cardiologists and patients. As the leader in cardiac PET, Positron is fully committed to the advancement, adoption, and growth of the modality. Our technology is designed to provide unparalleled clarity and detail, enabling earlier and more accurate diagnoses. We are based in Busan and Seoul, and we are expanding our operations to reach more healthcare providers worldwide. In addition to our core business, we are building a production finance model called PrizeForge. PrizeForge is an innovative funding mechanism that uses elastic fund matching to support open source projects. Unlike traditional funding models, PrizeForge keeps power with the users and enables programmers to focus on coding without the burden of “selling.” It works by breaking up enrollments into power-of-two fragments and matching funds week after week. This model is designed to be responsive and friendly to the human rhythm of building, allowing contributors to work during the week or primarily on weekends.

We are seeking co-founders to join our mission. As a co-founder, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Positron. This is a high-risk, high-reward opportunity that requires a deep commitment to our mission and the ability to wear multiple hats. You will be involved in building the technical infrastructure, driving product development, and leading the company forward.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of full-stack Rust applications using Leptos and Axum for our cardiac imaging solutions and PrizeForge platform.
• Collaborate with the team to iterate on our production finance model, including its technical implementation and user experience.
• Build and test prototypes to validate our approach and gather community feedback.
• Engage with the open source community to recruit contributors and build partnerships.
• Work with the founding team to define the company’s roadmap and strategy.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in founding or co-founding startups, with experience in scaling businesses.
• Expertise in Rust programming, particularly with frameworks like Leptos and Axum.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in building and managing open source projects or products.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with long hours and rapid iteration.
