Product Engineer, Clickhouse Engineer, Technical Account Executive

Roles We’re Hiring For:

• Product Engineers: Build and maintain our core product, working on features like analytics, feature flags, session replay, and more
• Clickhouse Engineer: Optimize and maintain our petabyte-scale ClickHouse database infrastructure
• Technical Account Executives: Drive customer success and business growth through technical expertise

Responsibilities:

• Product Engineers:

  • Design and implement new features and improvements to our product suite
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to define requirements and solutions
  • Optimize system performance and scalability
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to our technical culture

• Clickhouse Engineer:

  • Design and maintain our distributed ClickHouse infrastructure
  • Optimize query performance and data processing pipelines
  • Develop automation tools for database management and monitoring
  • Work closely with data engineering and analytics teams

• Technical Account Executives:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Build technical relationships with key customers
  • Help customers implement and maximize value from PostHog
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to sales and support teams

Requirements:

• Product Engineer:

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in modern web technologies (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Experience with distributed systems and database optimization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Clickhouse Engineer:

  • Deep expertise in ClickHouse or similar OLAP databases
  • Experience with distributed systems architecture
  • Strong SQL and data querying skills
  • Background in automation and infrastructure engineering

• Technical Account Executive:

  • 3+ years in sales or technical account management
  • Solid technical foundation in software development
  • Experience working with SaaS products
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Compensation: Competitive salaries ranging from $150,000 to $200,000 based on experience, along with equity options and comprehensive benefits. Remote roles with flexible work arrangements available for all positions.
