Company: Privy is an identity and fintech infrastructure startup building a wallet and digital asset API for companies using blockchain and distributed systems, backed by $40M from Ribbit & Sequoia. We power digital ownership for millions of users (>5M MAU) with a focus on privacy and user control through modern cryptography. We're a small, high-ownership team shipping multiple times weekly.

Role: As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer at Privy, you will be a technical expert working directly with our most strategic customers and partners. You will help them integrate Privy's APIs and SDKs, troubleshoot complex technical issues, build proof-of-concepts, and provide valuable feedback to our product and engineering teams based on real-world usage. This role blends software engineering, solution architecture, and technical relationship management.

Responsibilities:
*   Become a deep technical expert on Privy's products and APIs.
*   Work closely with customer engineering teams to design and implement integrations with Privy.
*   Develop sample applications, code examples, and technical documentation.
*   Troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues reported by customers.
*   Gather technical requirements and feedback from customers to inform product development.
*   Build internal tools or prototypes to support customer needs or explore new capabilities.
*   Collaborate with sales, product, and core engineering teams.

Ideal Candidate:
*   Strong software engineering background (experience across frontend/backend/mobile is a plus).
*   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
*   Experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar).
*   Proven ability to debug complex systems and solve technical problems independently.
*   Experience with API integrations, SDKs, and web/mobile development.
*   Interest in blockchain, crypto, or fintech ecosystems.
*   Based in NYC or willing to work remotely (with potential travel).
