About The Role: We are seeking a Staff Security Engineer to join our engineering team and play a key role in designing and implementing security measures for our platform. You will own the security architecture and practices that protect our users’ digital assets and ensure compliance with industry standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement security features for our wallet infrastructure and APIs.
• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments of our systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Perform penetration testing and security research.
• Advocate for secure coding practices across all engineering teams.
• Mentor junior engineers on security best practices.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience designing secure systems, particularly in fintech or blockchain contexts.
• Deep expertise in security technologies including encryption, secure enclaves, and key management.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices, OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities, and threat modeling.
• Experience with security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate security threats.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation: The estimated pay range for this role is $160,000 - $230,000, plus potential equity participation.
