Browser Extension Engineer

Puma.tech is seeking a Browser Extension Engineer to enhance our product ecosystem. We are building innovative browser and network technologies with built-in LLMs and wallets, and we need someone to develop and maintain browser extensions that provide seamless user experiences across platforms. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating extensions that integrate with our core technologies while ensuring performance, security, and privacy standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and other platforms
• Collaborate with our engineering team to implement features leveraging Puma’s unique technology
• Optimize extension performance and user experience
• Ensure extensions adhere to security and privacy best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Stay current with browser extension APIs and web technologies

Required Skills:

• Experience with browser extension development
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with security and privacy considerations
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with distributed systems
