Pylon is rebuilding the mortgage industry's technology stack from the ground up, akin to Stripe's impact on payments. We're tackling a sleepy industry known for outdated technology (often from the 90s) and creating a modern, API-driven infrastructure. Our mission is to transform the $2 trillion US mortgage market into a set of programmable APIs. We are a Series A company, well-funded, with customer traction.

We are seeking talented Generalist Software Engineers who are passionate about coding and building elegant solutions in a complex domain. You'll be part of a small, ambitious team based in Menlo Park, CA, working with first-principles thinking to fundamentally change how mortgages are originated.

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain core components of the Pylon platform.
- Collaborate with the team to architect and implement new features and APIs.
- Tackle challenges related to financial systems, compliance, and scalability.
- Contribute to building a robust and reliable system "the right way".
