Quatt is seeking a Data Engineer for their Data team. Quatt is a quickly growing climate tech scaleup building smart, accessible hybrid heat pumps to accelerate the transition to a gas-free future and help fix climate change. With thousands of customers and tons of data generated by their smart heat pumps, data is crucial for optimizing performance and building the smartest devices on the market. Their tech stack includes Typescript for backend/frontend. They have raised €25 million for expansion. Responsibilities: * Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines (ETL/ELT). * Develop and manage data warehousing solutions and data lakes. * Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across various data sources. * Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data needs and provide solutions. * Optimize data storage and query performance. * Implement monitoring and alerting for data infrastructure. Ideal Candidate: * Proven experience as a Data Engineer. * Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases. * Experience building data pipelines using tools like Airflow, dbt, Spark, etc. * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their data services. * Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Scala, Java). Familiarity or willingness to work with Typescript in the data context is a plus. * Understanding of data modeling techniques. * Experience with big data technologies is a bonus. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role is Hybrid/ONSITE and requires regular presence in the Amsterdam office.
