**The Role: Software Engineer (Full-Stack)**

Radar Labs is looking for a talented Full-Stack Engineer to join our team in New York City. You will work across our stack, contributing to both our backend services (primarily Rust) and frontend applications (TypeScript). You'll be involved in building features for our core platform, developing frontend tools to visualize and debug location data at scale, and integrating various parts of our system, from APIs handling 1B+ daily calls to our geospatial database, HorizonDB.

**Responsibilities:**

*   Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Rust.
*   Build and enhance frontend applications and tooling using TypeScript and modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
*   Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
*   Develop tools for data visualization and debugging at scale.
*   Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
*   Contribute to system architecture and design decisions.

**Technical Skills:**

*   Strong proficiency in backend development, ideally with experience in Rust (or a strong willingness to learn). Experience with other systems languages like Go, C++, or Java is relevant.
*   Strong proficiency in frontend development with TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).
*   Experience designing and consuming APIs (REST, gRPC).
*   Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL). Experience with geospatial data is a plus.
*   Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
*   Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies.
*   Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
