Company: Railway aims to be the operating system for modern development, simplifying infrastructure automation and deployment to make developers significantly more efficient. They provide tools for effortless application deployment.

Role: As Railway's first Solutions Engineer, you will be pivotal in bridging the gap between Railway's powerful platform and the needs of prospective and existing customers. You will leverage your technical background to guide companies in adopting Railway for their specific use-cases and production environments. This involves direct customer interaction, building Proofs of Concept (POCs) and demos, advocating for customer needs internally, and collaborating with the CEO and product team to refine the product and develop scalable processes for identifying and onboarding high-quality prospects.

Responsibilities:
- Engage with prospective and existing customers to guide successful Railway adoption and implementation.
- Understand customer requirements and technical challenges.
- Build POCs and demos to showcase Railway's value.
- Gather, internalize, and advocate for customer feedback within the product and engineering teams.
- Help design and implement scalable processes for identifying high-quality prospects.
- Partner with the CEO on larger deals and serve as a customer advocate.

Technical Skills:
- Strong technical background, likely in software or infrastructure engineering.
- Broad understanding of infrastructure products and cloud ecosystems (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) is a bonus.
- Ability to build technical demos and POCs.
