Company: Rec Technologies is building modern software for parks & recreation, aiming to replace clunky city rec websites with user-friendly solutions for booking facilities, signing up for programs, and managing recreation departments. Our mission is to build technology to power the future of recreation.

Role: We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to own the user experience and interface design for our platform. You will work closely with product management and engineering to create intuitive, accessible, and delightful experiences for our users (both public citizens and rec department staff).

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from concept to execution, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing.
- Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Develop and maintain our design system and UI component library.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering) to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet user needs.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on web applications.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
