Recall is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our small, remote, international team as one of our founding engineers. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on an early-stage startup backed by top Silicon Valley investors.

Recall lets you build your own knowledge graph from the online content you consume so you can safely forget everything and trust that Recall will resurface it when it''s needed. It''s like a read-it-later app with AI superpowers. The platform transforms scattered content into a self-organizing knowledge base that grows smarter the more you use it, enabling users to summarize, categorize, and connect information seamlessly. Key features include instant summaries, interactive chat with various content types (YouTube, PDFs, Google Docs, Articles), augmented browsing that resurfaces related content, AI-driven self-organizing knowledge graphs, and spaced repetition for enhanced memory. Recall prioritizes user privacy, offering offline-first functionality, data ownership, and portability.

Role & Responsibilities:
As a founding engineer, you will have big responsibilities and opportunities to shape the future of our product. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying core features across our full stack. Your work will directly impact the user experience, from content consumption and summarization to knowledge graph organization and recall mechanisms. You will collaborate closely with other team members in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

Technical Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with our core tech stack:
*   Frontend: React, Typescript
*   Backend: Python, FastAPI
*   Cloud Platform: GCP (Google Cloud Platform)

Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a proactive, self-driven engineer who thrives in an early-stage startup environment. You should be passionate about building innovative products that solve real-world problems related to information overload and knowledge management. Experience in developing scalable web applications and working with AI-powered features is a plus. Given our international team, excellent communication skills and comfort with remote collaboration (across time zones like UTC ± 4h, spanning Netherlands, Serbia, South Africa, and Pakistan) are essential. Candidates should be open to setting up a sole proprietorship if Recall doesn''t have an entity in their country.
