About The Role: We are seeking a collaborative, thoughtful, forward-thinking Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Frontend Applications: Design, implement, and sustain modern, user-centric web interfaces utilizing React and TypeScript, translating designs, prototypes, and user requirements into intuitive functionality.
  • End-to-End Full-Stack Feature Ownership: Take accountability for the entire feature delivery lifecycle, including frontend development, backend logic implementation leveraging Supabase, and comprehensive integration testing to ensure quality.
  • Administration of Supabase Backend Services: Configure, manage, and maintain Supabase services encompassing authentication, database management, storage, and serverless functions to effectively support the application’s frontend requirements.
  • Drive Technical Decision-Making and Architecture: Establish the structure of the codebase, select appropriate libraries and tools, and define coding standards to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of the engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Web Development Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in web development, preferably utilizing JavaScript/TypeScript and contemporary frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar.
  • Expertise in React: Demonstrated proficiency in building and optimizing modern web applications with React, or a demonstrated ability and eagerness to rapidly develop expertise in React.
  • Supabase or Backend-as-a-Service Proficiency: Practical understanding of Practical experience with Supabase, including database management, authentication, storage, and serverless functions, or equivalent exposure to comparable backend-as-a-service (BaaS) platforms.
  • Comprehensive Full-Stack Skills: Proven capability in both frontend and backend development within the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Experience working effectively within small, agile teams, embracing a collaborative and flexible approach to problem-solving.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Product Discovery & Iteration: Experience engaging in product discovery activities such as research, prototyping, and iterative development based on user feedback and evolving requirements.

  • Startup Experience: Previous experience working in startup environments or contributing to the development of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) with limited resources.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to pivot and respond effectively to evolving requirements and shifting business objectives.
  • Product Mindset: Genuine interest in developing delightful, user-centric products, with a focus on delivering value beyond writing code.
  • Agile Practices: Familiarity with agile practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and iterative delivery cycles.
