Science Corporation is a clinical-stage, vertically integrated neural engineering company in Alameda, CA, developing advanced medical technologies to restore quality of life. We focus on neuroscience's hardest questions, developing the full tech stack for neural interfaces (vision restoration, BCI) and recently raised $110M led by Khosla Ventures. We are seeking exceptional Electrical Engineers to contribute to the development of our cutting-edge neural interface technologies. You will be involved in the design, simulation, layout, fabrication, and testing of electronic circuits and systems for applications such as neural recording/stimulation (Axon probes, PRIMA), wireless communication (SciFi), power management, and signal processing. Responsibilities: * Design and simulate analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits. * Develop schematics and perform PCB layout for complex, high-density boards. * Select components and manage BOMs. * Bring-up, test, and debug electronic hardware. * Collaborate with mechanical, software, and foundry teams on system integration. * Develop test fixtures and procedures. * Contribute to system architecture decisions. * Document designs and test results thoroughly, potentially for regulatory submissions. Ideal Candidate: * Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering, including analog/digital circuit design and signal processing. * Proficiency with EDA tools for schematic capture, simulation (e.g., SPICE), and PCB layout (e.g., Altium, KiCad). * Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.) for testing and debugging. * Experience with low-power design, wireless communication (e.g., WiFi, BLE), or high-speed digital design is a plus. * Experience in medical device electronics, IC design, or MEMS interfacing is highly desirable. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
