**About The Role:** We are seeking a talented BI Engineer to join our data team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust data pipelines, creating interactive dashboards, and developing analytical tools that help drive our business forward. You will work closely with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure that our data infrastructure supports our mission and enables data-informed decisions across the organization.

**What You'll Do / Responsibilities:** 
* Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
* Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to efficiently retrieve and analyze large datasets.
* Master window functions and performance tuning techniques to handle complex analytical queries and improve query performance.
* Utilize BigQuery and Looker Studio to create interactive dashboards and reports that visualize key metrics and business insights.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, implement data models, and ensure data quality.
* Document data pipelines and data assets in a centralized repository to promote transparency and reproducibility.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data engineering and business intelligence.

**What You'll Bring / Requirements / Qualifications:** 
* Proven expertise in SQL, with a strong focus on window functions, performance tuning, and data manipulation.
* 3+ years of hands-on experience working with BigQuery and Looker Studio, including data modeling, ETL processes, and dashboard creation.
* Solid understanding of Git and GitHub for version control, with experience in collaborative development and documenting data pipelines.
* Comfortable working with non-relational data structures, such as JSON and Avro, which are common in modern data pipelines.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical details into insights for non-technical stakeholders.
* A passion for data and a commitment to building high-quality, maintainable data systems.
