SmarterDx is seeking a talented and passionate individual for the following role:
A Staff Software Engineer (Backend). You will be a key technical leader in our backend engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend services and APIs for our clinical AI platform. Responsibilities include architecting complex systems, leading challenging projects, mentoring junior engineers, and driving best practices in software development. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in backend development (e.g., Java, Python, Go), distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
