**About The Role:** We are seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI team, where you will play a key role in developing and deploying machine learning models that power our clinical AI platform. This is an exciting opportunity to significantly impact the scalability, reliability, and operational excellence of our AI infrastructure, while also mentoring and guiding the team.

**What You'll Do / Responsibilities:** 
- Design and implement machine learning models for clinical applications.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate ML models into production systems.
- Experiment with new algorithms and techniques to improve model performance.
- Optimize model deployment and monitoring processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.

**What You'll Bring / Requirements / Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in machine learning with Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Strong understanding of ML concepts and algorithms.
- Experience with model deployment and monitoring in production environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

**Compensation:** The estimated pay range for this role is $150,000 - $250,000. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in SmarterDx's equity plan.
