**Role Description:**
As an ML/AI Engineer at Sobek AI, you will be instrumental in designing and shipping core components of our platform. Your responsibilities will include developing LLM-powered retrieval pipelines, creating multi-agent orchestration systems, and implementing robust model-evaluation loops to ensure continuous improvement and reliability.

**Responsibilities:**
*   Design, build, and deploy machine learning models and pipelines, particularly focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs) and retrieval augmented generation (RAG).
*   Develop and manage multi-agent AI systems for complex workflow automation and collaboration.
*   Implement and maintain model evaluation frameworks and feedback loops.
*   Collaborate with software architects and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into our SaaS platform.
*   Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes) for scalable deployment and operations.

**Requirements:**
*   2+ years of experience in production machine learning environments.
*   Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
*   Proven experience with cloud deployment (AWS preferred) and containerization (Kubernetes).
*   Familiarity with LLMs, retrieval pipelines, and agentic AI concepts is highly desirable.
*   Startup-ready mindset: Comfortable working in ambiguous situations, iterating quickly, taking ownership, and driving projects to completion.
*   Experience in life sciences or bioinformatics is a plus but not required.

**Work Arrangement & Benefits:**
*   This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring 2-3 days onsite per week in Seattle, WA.
*   Competitive salary ($140k - $190k) and equity with significant upside potential.
