Developer Advocate

**About Sourcegraph:** Sourcegraph's Developer Advocates are passionate about empowering developers to build better software. You'll create content, engage with the developer community, and advocate for best practices using Sourcegraph tools. This role combines technical expertise with content creation and community building.

**Key Responsibilities:**
*   Create technical content (blogs, videos, tutorials) showcasing Sourcegraph tools
*   Engage with developer communities on platforms like GitHub and Stack Overflow
*   Organize and speak at technical events and conferences
*   Provide technical guidance and support to developers using Sourcegraph
*   Develop and maintain documentation and examples for Sourcegraph products
*   Gather feedback from the developer community to inform product improvements

**Required Skills:**
*   3+ years of software development experience
*   Excellent technical writing and communication skills
*   Experience creating content for technical audiences (blogs, videos, presentations)
*   Strong programming skills in languages like Go or TypeScript
*   Familiarity with developer tooling and workflows
*   Passion for open source and developer education
