**About Spacelift:** Spacelift is an infrastructure orchestrator and collaborative management platform for Infrastructure-as-Code – from OpenTofu, Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Kubernetes, to Ansible. It is the quickest way to implement best GitOps practices for your cloud resources. You can also use Spacelift as an API-driven orchestrator to power your internal developer and self-service platforms. In the last 5 years, Spacelift has been defining what it means to work with Infrastructure-as-Code at scale and popularized many best practices, such as Policy-as-Code for infrastructure, stack dependencies, and drift detection. From startups to large enterprises, we help teams around the world move faster with confidence. **The Role:** We are looking for software engineers who want to contribute to every aspect of building new functionality – from the discovery, delivery, testing, to release. We build highly technical products that need both good understanding of problems our users face and excellent engineering to nail the solution. **What You'll Do / Responsibilities:** - Building scalable solutions in Go with a strong focus on pragmatism. - Owning the features end to end from the discovery process, through creating designs to implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance. - Tackle sophisticated technical challenges involving multiple technologies while keeping the user experience delightful. - Keep learning about how engineers around the world build their infrastructure in order to make their day-to-day work easier. - You build it, you run it – you will also be part of the on-call rotation. **What You'll Bring / Requirements / Qualifications:** - Passion for building products, love for tech, and interest in the problem space (DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Developer Experience). - 3+ years of hands-on experience in programming in a compiled language - Go, C++, Java, C#. More than 1 year with Golang is a plus. - 4+ years of experience in the tech industry (software engineering, platform, or/and DevOps). - Experience working in early-stage startups, creating and/or contributing to open-source projects or founding a company is a strong plus. - You have experience implementing software that utilized at least one major cloud provider — AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - You are familiar with the concept of IaC and ideally have worked with an IaC tool — OpenTofu/Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation. - Excellent communication skills. **How we work:** - Move fast. Continuous deployments every day. - Deliver features in iterations with a tracer-bullet approach. Everything is an experiment. - Work closely as a team, having transparent communication, and caring about our system, ourselves, and customers. - Cultivate space for small and big innovations from hackathons to smaller, ad-hoc experiments. - Use the best dev tools that we can get our hands on - from any IDE of your choice to cutting-edge AI tooling like Claude Code. **Why Spacelift?** - Innovative Culture: Join a team shaping the future of cloud infrastructure management. - Growth Opportunities: Be a key player in driving Spacelift’s business and AWS partnership to new heights. - Work-Life Balance: Flexible work environment, with remote-first options and competitive compensation packages. - Collaborative Team: Work with passionate, talented people committed to driving success for our customers and partners. **What we offer:** - The expected B2B compensation ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 annually, with the possibility of going higher for exceptional candidates. - Equity package. - 26 days of paid time off annually. - Learning & education budget. - Option to work from anywhere within European timezones (CET +/- 2h).
