Product Software Engineer - Flows (remote Europe)

Spacelift

Location: Remote Europe   |   Full-Time

Spacelift Flows is a brand new product currently in development (see below for a couple demos) - a visual automation platform for day 2 operations. A home for all your ancillary automations - incident automation and response, self‑service, slackbots, AI automations, MCP servers, etc.

Spacelift was founded in 2020 by long‑time DevOps practitioner Marcin Wyszynski and successful entrepreneur Pawel Hytry and has raised $82.3 M in funding over four rounds from top venture capital firms including Insight Partners, Blossom Capital, Hoxton Ventures, Inovo Venture partners and Five Elms Capital.

Flows helps you bring out‑of‑the‑box observability, auditability, and ease of debugging to your automations, replacing any stray Lambdas and Python scripts. It integrates with a vast catalog of high‑level APIs and low‑level protocols, and includes basic infrastructure management capabilities. Finally, it makes building automations fun and interactive, while giving you the full power of JavaScript where needed.

We like to call Flows an “Integrated Automation Environment”, and the experience is in many ways similar to building an IDE - it even includes coding assistance and a TypeScript LSP running in the browser.

Flows also has a built‑in agentic AI assistant for building automations. We’re not just building it as a tool for the realities of today’s world, but for the opportunities of tomorrow, and as part of it, you’ll have the chance to work with and improve cutting‑edge technologies such as these.

We are looking for software engineers who are passionate about building tools. Engineers who want to contribute to every aspect of building new functionality—from discovery to delivery to release—and drive key decisions. We build highly technical products that need a good understanding of our users’ problems and excellent engineering to arrive at an optimal solution.

Since the product is new, it’s a great opportunity to greatly impact its features and development.
