Role: Staff AI Engineer

Responsibilities: Architect and build Spara's AI engine, fine-tune large language models (LLMs), design robust evaluation frameworks, and optimize user interactions across multiple modalities (chat, email, voice). Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions for enterprise sales. Lead technical design and mentorship within the AI team.

Technical Skills: Strong experience with Python, machine learning frameworks (like PyTorch or TensorFlow), LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), model fine-tuning, evaluation techniques, and ideally experience with cloud platforms (like Google Cloud) and vector databases (like pgvector). Familiarity with our tech stack (FastAPI/Python, React/TypeScript/Tailwind, Postgres/pgvector, Google Cloud, Docker, GitHub Actions) is essential.

Ideal Candidate: An experienced AI engineer with a proven track record of architecting and building impactful AI products. Enjoys tackling complex problems, leading technical initiatives, working in a fast-paced startup environment, and contributing to both high-level strategy and hands-on implementation. Staff level implies leadership qualities and the ability to mentor others effectively.
