Developer Advocate Lead

**About SpecStory:** SpecStory helps developers build AI-assisted tools that preserve intent and specs alongside code, so nothing gets lost and you create better agent-first software. We provide extensions for popular code editors like Cursor, Copilot, and Claude Code, as well as a standalone application called BearClaude.

**About The Role:** We are seeking an obsessively curious Developer Advocate to lead our content strategy and amplify SpecStory's reach. You will be the voice behind our extensions and BearClaude, turning intent into the new source code. This role requires content creation expertise and a passion for AI development tools.

**Key Responsibilities:**
*   Lead content strategy and execution across Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, and Dev communities
*   Create viral video content and tutorials showcasing AI dev tools through compelling narratives
*   Build authentic relationships with AI tool builders and developer influencers
*   Launch content-driven campaigns around "intent is the new source code"
*   Track content performance metrics obsessively and iterate on what resonates
*   Represent SpecStory's content vision at events and in developer communities

**Required Skills:**
*   Experience using AI dev tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, etc.)
*   Proven content creation ability to make content developers want to watch/share
*   Track record leading content strategies that grow communities/audiences
*   Understanding of platform content strategies
*   Scrappy mindset willing to try weird content experiments

**Ideal Candidate:**
*   Large following (10K+ on Twitter, LinkedIn, or YouTube) creating AI/dev content
*   Known for viral technical content that resonates with developers
*   Ability to code, edit well enough to create compelling technical demos and tutorials
