Role: Staff Software Engineer, Backend

We seek a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer, Backend to lead the architecture and development of our core backend systems in the SF Bay Area. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in scalable backend technologies, databases, cloud infrastructure, and API design. Responsibilities include setting technical direction for the backend team, designing and implementing complex systems, mentoring engineers, ensuring system reliability and performance, and driving technical strategy. Strong experience with AI/ML platforms or large-scale data processing is highly desirable.
