About The Role: As a Senior Front-End Engineer at StackBlitz, you’ll be responsible for building exceptional user interfaces and experiences that make our platform accessible and enjoyable for millions of developers worldwide. You’ll collaborate with designers and product managers to create intuitive tools that empower our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement responsive, performant user interfaces using modern frontend technologies
- Collaborate with UX designers to translate designs into high-quality code
- Build reusable component libraries and ensure consistency across the platform
- Optimize frontend performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
- Implement complex UI interactions and animations
- Troubleshoot and fix frontend bugs across different browsers and devices
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) and CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Material-UI)
- Strong understanding of state management and RESTful APIs
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks and tools
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices
- Familiarity with build tools and task runners (Webpack, Gulp)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex frontend projects
Compensation: The estimated pay range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000, with potential for equity participation. This role is eligible to participate in StackBlitz’s equity plan.
