About The Role: As a Software Engineer at Stellar, you’ll build the core platform features that power our AI voice agents. Working with Go and TypeScript, you’ll create systems that handle millions of customer interactions daily. This role requires strong technical skills and a passion for building scalable, reliable systems that directly impact customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement core features for our AI voice platform
  • Build robust APIs and services supporting our voice agents
  • Develop tools and guardrails to ensure reliable operation at scale
  • Optimize system performance for real-time voice processing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI researchers, product managers, and QA engineers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Contribute to our technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Stay current with emerging technologies in voice AI and distributed systems
  • Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Go and TypeScript (Encore.dev/React)
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture
  • Experience with real-time processing systems
  • Solid grasp of API design and RESTful principles
  • Knowledge of database design and optimization
  • Experience with containerization and cloud platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with focus on system reliability
  • Strong coding fundamentals and code quality awareness

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with voice processing or NLP technologies
  • Background in building scalable web services
  • Familiarity with contact center technologies
  • Experience with AI/ML systems deployment
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for voice AI
